HER STORY
She received her B.E in 2008, but she didn't want to be an engineer. After the graduate, she got a programmer's position in a famous mobile game company GAMELOFT. She quickly grew from a Junior Programmer to a Lead Programmer within two years. After another two years of leader programmer career, she got promoted to a Junior Game Producer. One year later she got promoted again and becomes a Senior Game Producer and led a localization team. Under her leadership, the Despicable Me 2: Minion Rush China Android version had earned more than 13.5 million USD profits between 2014 and 2015, which was almost 50 times more than the China iOS version. In 2015, she started her own business with a friend, she worked mainly as a Game Producer and the pet simulation game, Moe Monster, has published in China and India in January 2018. In 2017, she quit her company which was inspired by a question: "What is the video game means to me?". She realized that video games can be not only a ruthless profit machine but a heartwarming beacon light as well. She also realized that in order to create her ideal games, she needs to restudy the game from a game designer’s perspective. With this motivation, she came to USC and has studied hard on her level designer's road. In her spare time, she is a book worm and a history nerd.
